(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Oil announced on Friday, that the amount of exported oil reached more than 95 million barrels during the month of June and that oil revenue rose slightly this month compared to May.

The spokesperson for the ministry, Assim Jihad, said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “According to preliminary statistics released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), the total exported quantities of crude oil for the month of June from the production of the central and southern fields reached 95,260,683 barrels,” noting that, “The exported quantities have been loaded by international companies of different nationalities.”

He also added, “The financial revenue rose slightly this month compared with last May, where these revenues reached $3,175,356,” indicating that, “The average price per barrel was $40,367.”
