Russian Co. considering to join Exxon Mobil in developing Iraqi Oil, Gas fields

IraqiNews.com) The Russian Company Rosneft announced the possibility of a joint venture with the American Company Exxon Mobil to develop Iraqi Oil and Gas fields.

The Director of the Russian Company, Yegor Sechin, stated in press conference that “The company is studying the possibility of cooperating with the American Co. in developing the Oil fields and Gas fields in Iraq.”

Concerning the sides with which Rosneft will cooperate, Sechin added “The company will adopt the company that provides good offers as well as working with the US Exxon Mobil Company.””A delegation of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil will visit Moscow next May in response to the invitation of the Russian Company,” he pointed out.
