Shihristani, Japanese delegation discuss upgrading industry, oil & electricity sectors [09/04/2014]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein Al-Shihristani discussed with the executive director of Japanese Mitsui Company the means to upgrade the oil industry sector and the electricity projects in Iraq.

A statement by Shihristani’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “The DPM, Shihristani welcomed the executive director of Mitsui Co. where they discussed the prospects to improve the oil industries sector and the electric power projects in Iraq.”

“The two sides discussed the granting of the Japanese soft loans for the oil industries sector in Iraq,” the statement added.
