(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The British Government has allocated 80 million US dollars to support Iraq in its war against ISIS and provide humanitarian aid it needs, and informed that the aid will include reconstructing and rehabilitating the areas that were liberated from the ISIS control.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said in a statement said, “The UK Government has allocated 60.5 million sterling pound (80 million US dollars) as a new aid for Iraq in its war against ISIS terrorist gangs.”

The statement added, “The biggest part of the financial aids will be directed to fulfill the humanitarian needs of displaced people,” pointing out that, “7.3 million US dollars will be allocated for the dismantling of IEDs that represent a real danger on civilians in the liberated areas.”

“2.3 million US dollars will be allocated to support the liberation operation of Mosul, and another 4.3 million US dollars will be allocated for other expenses,” the statement continued.
