Over 100 Yazidis leave Iraq everyday, says official

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A Yazidi official has announced on Monday, that more than 300 Yazidis, mostly women and children, are still being held by ISIS, while also pointed out that more than 100 Yazidis are leaving the country on a daily basis.

Hussein Qaiada, an official of the office of abducted Yazidis, stated for IraqiNews.com, “Over 300 Yazidi people, mostly women and children, are still being held by the ISIS organization,” noting that “ISIS treats them cruelly and expose them to various types of abuse and torture.”

“More than 100 Yazidis are heading outside the country everyday,” Qaiada also added.

  1. Yes many are heading out of the country and they do not want to live even in the Iraqi areas that are not occupied by ISIS. Has the Iraqi government ever wondered why they are leaving the areas that are not occupied by ISIS.
