 263 displaced families return to Jalawla District, Diyali

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Displacement and Migration announced on Thursday the return of 263 displaced families to their original areas in the district of Jalawla in Diyali province.

The Immigration Office in Khanaqin, Ghazi Ali Agha, said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “In coordination with the local authority as well as the security forces, 263 displaced families have returned to their areas in al-Aruba in the district of Jalawla,” adding that, “This batch is a part of the 11th batch of the return of displaced families to Jalawla, amounting to 3299 families in the district.”

The statement added, “The returning families were welcomed by the local authorities.”
