Abadi emphasized the importance of security forces’ independence

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi emphasized on Sunday the importance of the the security services’ independence.
The Prime Minister’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “On Sunday, Abadi chaired the Ministerial Council for National Security meeting and discussed the preparations plans for the liberation of Mosul from ISIS terrorist gangs, as well as the national emergency plan for Mosul Dam and the expectations of water resources situation this year.”
The statement added, “Abadi emphasized during the meeting the importance of the independence of the security services and not allowing it to be politicized or polarized.”
