(IraqiNews.com) Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi has decided to put more than three hundred officers in the ministry of defense on retirement.

According to a statement issued late last night by the Prime Minister’s information office, Abadi decided to put more than three hundred officers in the ministry of defense on retirement.

The statement indicated that this decision was made “within the Iraqi army re-structuring plan to make it more effective and efficient against any risks facing Iraq and to protect its national security.”
