Alama meets Vice-President of Kurdistan Region in Erbil

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President of Kurdistan Regional Government, Emad Ahmed, met the famous Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama at the Cabinet building in Erbil.

The Kurdistan Regional Government reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During the meeting, the Lebanese artist expressed his pleasure to visit Kurdistan Region, praising the developments in Kurdistan Region in all fields, ” stressing that ”The people of Kurdistan Region are peaceful and humanitarian and want to live in peace.”

”The language of Art is a global language that gathers all people despite their nationalities, religions and political affiliations and make them desire to live in peace, ” adding that, pointing out ”The role of artists in this field where they are a major factor to gather people though all their political opinions,”The Vice-President of Kurdistan RegionG welcomed Alama visit and hoped to be a start to promote coordination between Arab and Kurdish artists in favor of all people.
