(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Head of al-Ameriyat District Council, Shaker Mahmoud al-Issawi, announced on Monday receiving more than 2000 displaced families from the city of Fallujah and its outskirts.

Issawi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The district of al-Ameriyat (23 km south of Fallujah) received more than 2000 displaced families from the city of Fallujah and its outskirts during the past 48 hours,” pointing out that, “The Ministry of Displacement and Migration continue to offer support for the relief of those displaced families and the provision of humanitarian assistance to them.”
