Baghdad Mayorship condemns targeting its cadre

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Mayorship strongly condemned the terrorist operations which targeted its employees and its services cadre while they were at field work in different residential areas and neighborhoods to provide services for people of Baghdad.

Baghdad Mayorship reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Terrorists traveling by a civilian vehicle opened fire targeting the Assistant Director of the Cleaning Department in Shaab Municipality Directorate, Dawood Kues, while he was heading toward his job headquarter during the evening shift.”

The statement added ”Kues suffered serious injuries due to the terrorist attack and he was transported to a hospital in Sadr city then to the Medicine City hospital to perform a surgery for him attempting to save his life.”

The statement pointed out ”Baghdad Mayorship condemns this terrorist act and demands the security bodies to exert more efforts to maintain the safety of its cadre who are keen to provide the best services to the people of Baghdad.” \
