(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, Baghdad Operations Command has called on citizens not to demonstrate on Friday on the occasion of Ashura
The leadership’s Spokesman Brigadier Saad Maan said in an interview to IraqiNews.com, “Baghdad Operations Command has called on citizens not to demonstrate tomorrow on the occasion of Ashura.”
The decision was attributed to making a way for citizens to commemorate this occasion and perform rituals during the event, in addition to performing visits to the holy shrines.
