Border forces foil ISIL attack on border station near Jordanian borders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Interior Ministry assured that “Iraqi border guards foild a terrorist attack for the ISIL that targeted a border station near the Jordanian borders.”

Spokesperson of the Iraqi Interior Ministry Brigadier Saad Maan said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “A force from the Third Brigade within the Fourth Border Guards Sector foiled an attempt for the terrorist ISIL organization to attack the Iraqi Arkaban Border Station near the Iraqi- Jordanian borders and confronted the attack in coordination with the Joint Operations which provided areal support for the Iraqi troops.”

“The attack resulted in injuring three elements of the Iraqi border guards force,” he added. /End/
