Conference of Haj Season Guides starts

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Conference of the male and female Guides of Haj season for 2012 started in Najaf province on Thursday morning with attendance of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

The Head of the Haj Board, Mohamed Taqi al-Mawla, said during his speech at the conference, attended by IraqiNews.com correspondent “The first convoy of the Iraqi pilgrims will set out on current September/29 to the Holy Land.”

Mawla called upon the Iraqi pilgrims to respect the laws of the KSA during their pilgrimage tour,” stressing on the guides to “teach them the Islamic principles and rituals of the pilgrimage.”

The conference wittnessed participation of (950) female and male guides from all provinces except for Kurdistan Region.
