Photos: Largest cross in Iraq illuminated to celebrate Christmas and New Year

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi social media activists and bloggers published photos showing a large illuminated cross in Alqosh area, which is inhabited by Christian majority, north of Iraq.
Bloggers emphasized that the cross is the biggest in Iraq, and it was illuminated to celebrate the approaching Christmas and New Year.
The 12-meter cross was placed on a mountain in Alqosh area, and a Christmas tree was set near it, the bloggers added.
