Delay of law drafts endorsement to increase unemployment, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Work and Social Affairs Parliamentary Committee Abdul Khudir Taher assured that “The solution of unemployment could be through legislating the social security law and to adopt the new pension law.”

MP Taher reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”There are no official accuracy statistics regarding the size of unemployment phenomenon because of the lack in planning and real statistics concerning unemployment problem,” pointing that ”Iraq has an inflation in job degrees within governmental institutions, yet, it does not reduce the unemployment no matter how much the state budget became.”

”The solution of unemployment problem depends on the endorsment of three law drafts (social security law), which we still work on it and the (Work Law draft as well as the new (Pension law),” stressing that ”The new pension law draft will ensure pension rights for all citizens if they pay their pension dues.” \
