DM underlines lack of accuracy of information about landing aircrafts in areas occupied by ISIS
(IraqiNews.com) DM Khaled al-Obeidi announced on Sunday that the initial investigations proved the inaccuracy of the information about the helicopters landing in areas occupied by ISIS, emphasizing that any aircraft landing to help ISIS is a legitimate target for the Iraqi Forces, wherever it is coming from.
Obeidi said in a press conference today in the Defense Ministry building in Baghdad, attended by IraqiNews, “Initial investigations proved the inaccuracy of information relating to the landing helicopters in areas occupied by ISIS,” pointing out that, “This information was spread by civilians and it is untrue.”
“Any aircraft landing to help ISIS is a legitimate target for the Iraqi Forces, wherever it is coming from,” he added.
