Dozens demonstrate in Baghdad to protest the high price of the dollar

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Dozens of citizens and shopkeepers organized in Baghdad a protest demonstration on the high price of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar.

One of the organizers of the demonstration said in interview for IraqiNews.com, “a group of traders from Jamila area east of Baghdad organized this morning a protest demonstration against the rise in the dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar.”

The organizer added: “the protesters are demanding the governor of the Central Bank Ali Alaq to immediately intervene to end this matter, “pointing to “high commodity prices and the inability of citizens to purchase in the holy month of Ramadan.”

  1. It is their own selfish fault on putting all their money into one item on the market and regardless of what you invest in on the market there is risk, and the higher the risk you can gain more could easily turn the opposite direction where the higher the risk you can loose more.
