Dozens demonstrate in central Baghdad demanding end of firing shots trend

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, dozens of citizens demonstrated in the center of the capital Baghdad demanding an end for the trend of shooting randomly on occasions, calling for not making the culture of violence a substitute for human behavior.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com stated , “Dozens of people demonstrated at noon today in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad to demand an end for the trend of firing shots on occasions.”

He added that several demonstrators raised slogans including “Do not make the culture of violence a substitute for human behavior,” in addition to the statement of Mr. Sistani, “It is not permitted to fire bullets unjustifiably,” calling Iraqi tribes to renounce the firing bullets in random events.
