Environment Ministry approves establishing 164 industrial activities in Baghdad

Baghdad ( The Iraqi Ministry of Environment granted (164) environmental approvals for industrial and service activities in Baghdad.

A statement by the Ministry quoted Spokesperson of the Ministry, Amir Ali al-Hassoun, as saying “After making sure of the compliance of those industrial activities with the instructions and obligations identified by the new environmental law, the Ministry granted them the environmental approvals.”

“On other hand, the Ministry refused another eight activities for not complying with the environmental obligations,” the statement added.
