German foreign minister starts official visit to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – German Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas started on Saturday an official visit to Baghdad.
According to a brief statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German diplomat will meet Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and President Barahm Salih during the visit.
They will discuss means of promoting relations between Baghdad and Berlin, the ministry said in the statement.
