Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammad Al-Hakim discussed on Monday with Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah the latest developments in the region, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

In a press statement carried by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), the ministry said that Al-Hakim and Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled exchanged in a phone call the regional and international developments, as well as means of promoting bilateral relations.

The two top diplomats also discussed issues of mutual interest and agreed to continue coordination in the coming period to meet aspirations of the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples, the statement read.
