ERBIL (BasNews) The members of the Islamic State (IS) organization also should benefit from the law of general amnesty in order to prevent the resurrection of the extremist organizations, said an MP to the Iraqi House of Representatives.

The Iraqi parliament is due to discuss and finalize the bill for the general amnesty next week.

Speaking from Erbil to the Iraqi Ghadpress website, Mithal al-Alusi said the politicians and professionals are common to sit together in order to work out a “decisive deal” over those who have collided with the terrorist organizations.

This is “to prevent the recreation of some terrorist organizations as IS,” Alusi said.

Alusi, whose two sons were killed by the extremist groups, stated “we should bravely admit that the matter is an Iraqi issue before we talk about those murderers who came from outside [Iraq].”

“The solution is to frankly discuss the manner to protect our sons against falling into the hands of these executioners [in reference to IS],” he added.
