Iraqi premier to start official visit to Kuwait Wednesday — source

Baghdad ( – Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi will start an official visit to Kuwait Wednesday on top of a high-level delegation, an informed source was quoted as saying.

Speaking to Baghdad Today news website on Tuesday, the source said that the premier will hold during the visit talks with senior Kuwaiti officials, topped by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The talks will focus on means of solving pending issues between the two countries and increasing Kuwaiti investments in Iraq.

The Iraqi-Gulf relations and the latest developments in the region will figure high on the agenda of Abdul Mahdi in Kuwait.
