(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) announced, that the numbers of displaced persons have increased in Sharqat, Haj Ali and Qayyarah to over 70000.

IRCS, in a statement ews, said, “The numbers of displaced persons in Sharqat, Haj Ali and Qayyarah have increased to 70 thousand and they live in difficult humanitarian conditions.”

The statement added, “More than 30 thousand displaced persons are in Daibaka camp in Makhmur and over 40 thousand displaced  are in Tikrit, and the majority of them are living in public places.”

“The IRCS volunteers distributed more than 120 thousand meals and water, and deployed a number of psychological support teams in order to ease the suffering of the displaced persons,” the statement continued.
