Civilians from Diali poison 12 ISIS fighters to death by tainting their food

poison_sign_l(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a Saudi newspaper claimed that the people of Glula’ and Al-Saadeya in Diali killed ISIS fighters by poisoning their food, indicating that ISIS now vows to take revenge against some of Diali’s civilians.

Al-Hayah newspaper—in its today’s issue—quoted Quassem Al-Tamimi, the leader of Al-Sahwa (awakening) organization in Muqdadiyah, “The people of Glula’ and Al-Saadeya in Diali managed to kill 11 ISIS elements by poisoning the food brought to them in their deployment sites,” pointing that “ISIS issued a circular threatening to implement the treason punishment upon those proven to have poisoned the food.”

The newspaper added, “The organization decided to financially reward whoever offers information that could lead to exposing the families who poisoned the ISIS fighters,” while—on October 27th—another local source revealed that two ISIS elements were dead after drinking poisoned tea; and this was the second reported incident during the current month in northeast Ba’quoba.
