ISIS sells barrel of oil for less than $ 10, says al-Shahristani

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani confirmed on Monday, that ISIS sells oil in prices do not exceed $ 10.

Shahristani said in press statements:” ISIS sells a barrel of oil for less than $ 10,” noting that, “the organization controlled the oil fields in Syria, and there are some other small fields in Mosul and Kirkuk. ”

Shahristani stressed that “The oil smuggling is conducted with the help of some traders from the region, as well as from some neighboring countries,” adding that, “the region does not give information on the amount of the smuggled oil by ISIS, and Turkey also does not give this information.”
