ISIS trapped in Tikrit, says Interior Minister

(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Ghaban said that there will be no truce with ISIS, stressing that the security forces have surrounded the group in a narrow area in Tikrit.
Ghabban said today in a press conference with the federal police chief and the governor of Salahuddin in Samarra, attended by IraqiNews.com, “The military operations to liberate Salahuddin will resume soon, according to the field commanders estimates.”
Ghaban added, “ISIS is defeated in Salahuddin, and its morale has collapsed before the security forces and the Volunteer Fighters strikes,” indicating that, “The ISIS elements are now trapped in a narrow area in Tikrit, and there will be no truce with them at all.”
