Jubouri calls for special summit to curb bloodshed

(IraqiNews.com) Head of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri called on the Arab League to hold a special summit to find ways to put an end to the bloodshed in the Arab countries, while he asked the counties to re-open their embassies in Baghdad as a positive step in line with the size of the actual development of the security situation in Iraq.
Jubouri said in a speech during a meeting with a number of representatives of Arab diplomatic missions, followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Arab League should play a greater role in resolving the Arab issues by drawing a new road map, and not wait for the world to initiate in solving our problems.”
He added, “This comes through holding a special summit held in order to find ways to put an end to the bloodshed.”
