MoWR calls Indian companies to take part in rebuilding water resources sector’s infrastructures

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Water Resources, Mohannad al-Saadi, who is visiting India currently, called the Indian companies to participate in rebuilding the infrastructures of the water resources sector in Iraq.

Saadi has flew to India chairing a delegation of Iraqi cadres in a formal five-day visit to sign Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Water Resources of both countries.”

A statement by the Ministry reported “Saadi stressed the ministry’s eagerness to obtain the modern technology used in implementing and rehabilitating the irrigational projects,” noting “The Iraqi minister conducted field visits to a number of irrigational projects in India to consider the possibility of making use of the Indian expertise in this regard.”

Saadi invited the Indian companies to take part in rehabilitating the infrastructures of the water resources sector and invest the available opportunities in this sector.
