(IraqiNews.com) Prime minister Haider al-Abadi said on Monday that there is no place for militias and armed manifestations outside the state scope, pointing out to the “opportunists” who burn properties after fighting in the liberated areas, noting that the government is making the necessary preparations for the liberation of al-Anbar.

Abadi said while attending the Parliament last session, “The security situation in Baghdad has improved spectacularly,” noting that, “Security forces are working to purge the capital’s outskirts.”

“The government prohibits the establishment of any military formations outside the state framework,” he added.
