(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – After the invitation of the religious authority to students and university professors to take advantage of the summer vacation to train on the use of weapons, a number of students and professors have begun training on weapons and fighting in the universities.

The following pictures show the training of 250 students and professors at the Faculty of Medicine in al-Aadamiya area northern Baghdad.

  1. I see this is wrong as by doing this it has turned the medical university and medical students into military targets to be attacked by militants.

  2. They’re targets regardless of the fact that they know how to use weapons. Now they’re just a harder target because they might defend themselves. I’m sure they know better than anyone the reasons for training. Doctors aren’t stupid.

  3. I’m more worried about them becoming worse with a rifle than a completely untrained person if they’re trained by the Iraqi army.

  4. After thinking about what ISIS has done I have changed my mind and now I agree with the arming and training of medical people as they need to protect themselves and their patients.
