Scuffle between MPs breaks out in Kurdistan Parliament

Kurdistan (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, scuffles erupted between members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and opposition members of the Movement For Change inside the Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament.

IraqiNews correspondent in Erbil reported that, members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by the president of the Kurdistan region Massoud al-Barzani have scuffled with MPs of the Movement For Change (also known as Change List) during today’s session of the Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament.

The Parliament’s session was intended to discuss the oil and gas law draft, but one of the MPs has spoken about the extension of the president’s term, thereby brawl erupted between the members of the parliament.
