(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Tuesday, a local source in Nineveh province said, that ISIS has begun trading with its currency in Mosul on a limited scale, indicating that the militant group asked supporters to publish pictures of the new currency on social networking sites.

The source told IraqiNews.com, “ISIS elements handed out leaflets about its own currency and distributed a limited number of categories of the currency; which are dirham and five dinars,” adding that “ISIS began trading with the currency on a limited scale in the province.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The group also asked supporters to publish pictures of the new currency on the social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.”
