Turkish PM to visit Baghdad this week

(IraqiNews.com) Diplomatic sources confirmed that the Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, will be visiting to Baghdad on Thursday, after being invited by Iraqi counterpart, Haider al-Abadi.

The sources stated that Davutoglu will hold bilateral talks to discuss the best ways to vivify the relations between the two countries, that were inactive during the government of former Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

The sources pointed out that the visit of Iraqi Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari to Turkey has opened a new page in the relationship between the two sides, adding that Davutoglu will visit Arbil on the following day for talks with the Kurdistan Regional Government officials.
