URGENT: ISIS destroys Castle of Tikrit, birthplace of Salahuddin Ayubi
Tikrit (IraqiNews) The elements of the terrorist organization of the Islamic state in Iraq and Levant detonated the ancient castle of Tikrit, known as Salah al-Din.
The activist Marwan Naji said in a press statement “because the castle of Tikrit is one of the landmarks of Iraq, being the birthplace of the leader Salahuddin Ayubi, the organization ISIS bombed it.”
The organization ISIS has already carried out bombings on religious shrines of the prophets such as the shrine of the Prophet Yunus in the city of Mosul
