1 civilian killed and 5 others wounded in car bombing in central Baghdad

( Baghdad – On Tuesday, a source in the Iraqi police said, that a civilian was killed and five others wounded in an car bomb explosion in central Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for, “The explosive device was inserted inside a wheel (Kia bus) which exploded this evening, as it was passing near Syed Sultan Ali area in central Baghdad; killing one civilian and wounding five others.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “security force rushed to the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a near hospital for treatment and the body of the dead to the forensic medicine department; while opened an investigation into the incident to know who stands behind it.”
