(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that ten people were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast north of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, at noon today, in Hamamiyat area in Taji District north of Baghdad, killing two people and wounding eight others.”

The source, on condition of anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and evacuated the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while carried out an operation to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
