10 civilians killed and injured in bomb blast south of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A security source in the Interior Ministry announced on Friday, that 10 people had been either killed or injured in the explosion of an explosive device south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for “An improvised explosive device exploded near a popular café in Diyala Bridge area south of Baghdad, killing two people and wounding eight others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Security forces cordoned off the area of the blast rushed the injured to a hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the dead were transferred to the forensic medicine department.”
