10 ISIS militants killed in coalition strike south of Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A security source in Nineveh province announced on Monday, that ten ISIS gunmen were killed in an air strike by the international coalition south of Mosul.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “the international coalition aircraft launched an air strike on ISIS stronghold in al-Marir village in Qayyarah District (60 km south of Mosul), resulting in the killing of ten gunmen that were inside the headquarters.”

It is noteworthy that the ISIS has took over Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad) since the 10th of June 2014.
