10 people killed, wounded in bomb blast southwest of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, that ten people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast southwest of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by, “This morning, a bomb exploded near a fruits and vegetables market in Radwaniyah vicinity southwest of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring nine others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while cordoned off the area of the incident and barred approaching it.”
