1000 tribal fighters finish their training in Habaniyah Base east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Member of Anbar Provincial Council Azal al-Fahdawy announced on Saturday, that 1000 tribal fighters have finished their military training as part of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in al-Habaniyah Base east of Ramadi.

Fahdawy said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “1000 fighters from the sons of Anbar clans have finished their training as part of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi in al-Habaniyah Military Base (30 km east of Ramadi),” pointing out that, “The fighters had received training at the hands of Iraqi trainees.”

Fahdawy added,”The fighters will participate in the liberation operations of Ramadi along with operations in Anbar as well as the maintenance of the northern axis of the city, especially in the liberated areas.”
