11 people killed, wounded in bomb blast south of Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, that 11 people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast south of Baghdad.
The source reported to IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, before noon today, near a popular market in Yusufiyah area south of Baghdad, killing two people and wounding nine others.”
The source, on condition of anonymity, added: “A security force rushed to the area and evacuated the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while cordoned off the area and prevented approaching it.”
