12 civilians killed, wounded in mortar shell fall near Khalidiya Hospital

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A security source in Anbar province announced on Monday, that two civilians were killed and 10 others were injured in the fall of mortar shells on Khalidiya district east of Ramadi.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNew.com, “The organization launched today several mortar shells that landed near al-Rashid al-Ahli Hospital in Khalidiya (23 km east of Ramadi), killing two civilians and wounding 10 others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The security forces arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
