12 ISIS fighters killed in airstrike in western Fallujah

( Anbar – Anbar Operations Command announced on Thursday, that 12 members of the so-called ISIS were killed in an air strike carried out by the international coalition aviation in western Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad), while pointed out that the air strike resulted in the destruction of four ISIS vehicles.

The commander of Anbar Operations Maj. Gen. Ismail Mahlawi said in a press statement followed by, “Today the international coalition aviation carried out an air strike targeted ISIS gatherings in Falahat area (10 km west of Fallujah), based on accurate intelligence information, killing 12 ISIS fighters and destructing four vehicles and a mortar detachment.”

Mahlawi added, “The security forces continue its progress in all axes of Fallujah, especially the northern and southern axes,” pointing out that, “The security forces are advancing to the entrances of Saqlawiyah vicinity north of Fallujah after liberating al-Shuhada neighborhood.”
