(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province revealed, that 13 people have been killed and 50 others were injured in a suicide bombing east of Tikrit.

The source, who spoke on condition of anounyty, stated for IraqiNews.com, “A suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt has detonated himself, this afternoon, in the district of Tuz Khurmatu in east of Tikrit City, followed by another explosion of a motorcycle in the same area,” noting that, “The two explosions resulted in killing 13 persons and wounding 50 others.”

“A security force cordoned off the area of the incident, while ambulances transferred the injured to a hospital and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department,” the source also added.
