 13,691 families migrate from Sharqat and areas south of Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced that 13,691 families have migrated from Sharqat district in Salahuddin province, Qayyarah and areas to the south of Mosul in Nineveh.

Head of the Northern Provinces Department in the ministry Mohanad Saleh Abdel Rahim said, “Yesterday, the ministry received 721 displaced families coming from the villages and areas of Sharqat district in Salahuddin province and the areas south of Mosul in the IDPs’ center in Baiji district.”

Abdel Rahim added, “The total number of the families that have migrated from Sharqat and Qayyarah have reached to 13,691.”
