16 ISIS elements killed during internal clashes in Mosul, says Kurdish official

( Nineveh – The media official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Mosul announced on Tuesday, that 16 elements of the ISIS organization have been killed during internal clashes on the back of the distribution of funds and booty in the city.

Saeed Mamouzini, the spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, stated for, “Two groups belonging to the ISIS organization; one of them led by Abu Musab al-Musli and the other led by Haji Nasser al-Mawla clashed with each other in the area of al-Baaj in western Mosul on the back of the distribution of the booty and funds among themselves.”

Mamouzini noted, “The clashes resulted in the killing of 16 elements of them.”

  1. Mosul is surrounded by Iraqi forces so ISIS more likely would be fighting amongst themselves if to flee Mosul or not so as to save their lives whilst they can, rather than fighting about the distribution of funds and booty.
