16th division troops arrive in Nineveh to participate in Mosul liberation

( Nineveh – On Saturday, a local source in Nineveh province announced the arrival of troops from the 16th division to the the province to participate in the ongoing preparations to liberate the city of Mosul from the control of ISIS.”

The source said in an interview for, “troops belonging to the 16th dvision under the command of the ground force, which settles in the province of Diyala, arrived this evening in the city of Kirkuk and then in Makhmour district, where there is the headquarters of Nineveh operations.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The Ministry of Defense has coordinated with the Ministry of Peshmerga in moving these forces,” noting that “these forces will be added to other military forces to work under the supervision of the joint operations room between Baghdad and Erbil and in coordination with the Nineveh operations.”

  1. Its going to be a very long time before the Mosul liberation actually happens and some already have been waiting for more than a year.
