Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source in the Iraqi police said that the security forces found 17 unidentified bodies who were shot dead east of the capital Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com , “Today a force of the local police found the bodies of 17 unidentified men in a garbage dump in the laboratories district in eastern Baghdad,” noting that wounds in the bodies indicate they were shot in the head.

The source, who requested anonymity, said: “The force transferred the bodies to the Forensic Medicine department, and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.”
