17 unidentified bodies found in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad ( On Thursday, a source in the Iraqi police said that the security forces found 17 unidentified bodies who were shot dead east of the capital Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for , “Today a force of the local police found the bodies of 17 unidentified men in a garbage dump in the laboratories district in eastern Baghdad,” noting that wounds in the bodies indicate they were shot in the head.

The source, who requested anonymity, said: “The force transferred the bodies to the Forensic Medicine department, and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.”
